What a good shop needs
A shop lives or dies on a few dull details: clear product photos, sizes and options that make sense, delivery costs shown before checkout, and a payment page that works first time on a phone. We spend our time on those, because that is where sales are lost.
- WooCommerce on WordPress, so products, orders and stock are managed in one familiar place.
- Card payments through Stripe, including Apple Pay and Google Pay where you want them. Money goes to your own Stripe account.
- Shipping rules that match how you post: flat rates, free delivery over a threshold, click and collect, or international zones.
- Variations done properly, such as sizes and junior and adult kit, so customers cannot order something you do not stock.
- Order emails to you and the customer, sent through a dedicated delivery service so they arrive.
Shops we run
The Arbroath FC shop carried 136 products when we counted in October 2026: home, away and goalkeeper kits, junior kits, training wear, gifts and matchday hospitality packages. We also built the online shop for Brechin City's supporters. Away from football, we build and look after shops for a Dundee vehicle detailing company and a luxury jeweller.
Selling a service instead of products?
Online shops are good at products. If you need recurring subscriptions, bookings or memberships with their own logic, that is usually platform work, which our sister studio webdesigndundee.agency handles.
