Trades and construction

Show the work. Win the job.

For trades, the website is the portfolio. Customers want to see jobs like theirs, know you cover their area and get a quote without chasing.

What works for trades

Trade customers are usually comparing two or three firms. The one with clear photos of finished work, a straight description of what they do, and an easy way to ask for a quote tends to get the call. Most of the trades we work with get their best leads from people who have already seen a job they did.

  • A gallery you can add to from your phone, so finished jobs go up while they are fresh.
  • Service pages that say what you do, and what you do not, so you get fewer enquiries that waste your time.
  • The areas you cover, stated plainly. If you work across Angus and Perthshire, say so.
  • Quote forms that ask the right questions: postcode, type of job, rough size, photos. You get enough to reply properly the first time.

Trades we build for

Our trade clients include Burtys Timber, a sawmill at Eassie near Forfar selling Scottish hardwood and softwood, Tayside Construction, Caltech Lifts, which supplies and maintains passenger lifts and stairlifts from Dundee, Brown Earth Landscapes, a garden and landscape design firm, and Eden Dundee, a grass cutting and lawn care business.

Questions

Good questions

I get most of my work by word of mouth. Do I need a website?

Word of mouth is usually followed by a search. People who have been recommended to you still look you up before they call, and a good site turns that look into a phone call.

Can I update the gallery myself?

Yes. We set it up so you can add photos of finished jobs from your phone in a couple of minutes.

Ready when you are

Let's build something brilliant.

Tell us about your business and what the website needs to do. You'll hear back from a real person, usually the same working day. We quote per project, in writing, before anything starts.
