What local SEO actually is
Local search results are built from two places: your Google Business Profile, which feeds the map, and your website, which feeds the ordinary results underneath. Both need to agree on who you are, where you are and what you do. Most of the work is making that true and making it clear.
What we do
- A page for each service people search for. "MOT Dundee" and "clutch repair Dundee" are different searches. One general services page cannot rank for both.
- Area pages that earn their place. If you genuinely serve Broughty Ferry, Carnoustie or Fife, a page that says something specific about working there helps. A copy of the same page with the town name swapped does not, and Google is good at spotting it.
- The technical basics: unique page titles and descriptions, one clear heading per page, structured data describing your business, fast pages, a sitemap, and permanent redirects for anything that moves.
- Google Business Profile. We help you set up and improve your profile: categories, services, photos and posts. The profile stays in your name.
- Search Console and Bing. We connect your site to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, submit sitemaps, and tell search engines about changed pages straight away through IndexNow.
- Reporting you can read: what people searched for, which pages they landed on and whether they got in touch.
Real examples
Doorstep Glass Recycling collects across Dundee, Angus, Fife, Perthshire and further afield, and its site has a page for each town and area it serves, from Broughty Ferry to Stonehaven. Tannadice Motors has a page for every service it offers, so a search for a specific job lands on the page about that job.
What we will not do: promise you the top spot, buy links, or write fake reviews. Fake reviews are banned under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, and they are not worth the risk to your name anyway.
